When selecting your phone for 2-Factor Authentication, you receive a message instructing you to contact Softdrive support. This guide provides steps to resolve this issue.


Cause

This can happen if multiple instances of Softdrive are running simultaneously, which may cause authentication conflicts.



Resolution

  1. Close extra Softdrive sessions
    • Open your Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc on Windows) and check for multiple instances of Softdrive.

    • Close all Softdrive processes.

  2. Try logging in again

    • After closing all extra sessions, restart Softdrive and attempt 2-Factor Authentication again.
