Cloud PC/Virtual Machine Showing the Wrong Time

If your Cloud PC/Virtual Machine is displaying the wrong time, try the following:

  1. Manually Adjust the Time Zone:

    • Right-click on the clock in the taskbar.
    • Select "Adjust date/time".
    • Change the time zone to the correct setting.
  2. IT Admin Adjustment (NTP Server Fix):

    • Your IT admin can adjust the Network Time Protocol (NTP) server to ensure accurate synchronization.
    • Softdrive machines sync with our hypervisor until NTP takes over.
    • A sample command to manually sync the time is
      w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:time.windows.com /syncfromflags:manual /reliable:yes /update
