Enhancements
Session Window Computer Identification
The session window title bar now displays the computer name, allowing users to easily identify which system is active in each window. This improves usability when working across multiple concurrent sessions.
Launcher Experience Improvements
Implemented a series of incremental improvements across the Launcher to enhance usability, responsiveness, and reliability. These updates improve consistency in day-to-day interactions and contribute to a smoother session launch experience.
Bug Fixes
Webcam Device Release After Application Use
Resolved an issue where the webcam could remain active after ending a meeting in certain applications (such as Microsoft Teams), preventing other applications from accessing the device. The webcam is now properly released after use, allowing it to be reinitialized by subsequent applications within the same session.
Clipboard (Copy and Paste) Reliability
Resolved an issue where copy and paste operations between the local desktop and Softstream session could be inconsistent. Clipboard functionality has been improved to ensure consistent and reliable data transfer in both directions.
Printing Compatibility Improvements
Improved printing reliability within Softstream sessions by enhancing client-side support for printer redirection. This ensures more consistent printing behavior across supported environments.
IGEL Input Responsiveness
Resolved an issue within the IGEL client that caused intermittent double-click responsiveness problems, improving consistency when opening folders and launching applications.
IGEL Cursor Alignment
Resolved an issue where the on-screen cursor could appear offset from the actual pointer position, resulting in inaccurate click and double-click interactions
