Overview
Error Code 502 indicates that an internal server error occurred within the Softdrive platform. This error usually means that the Softdrive web server was unable to receive a valid response from one of its internal services or underlying third-party infrastructure providers.
These errors are considered platform-side issues, are treated as high priority, and are typically resolved within a short period once detected.
When this error occurs, users may be unable to log in or access the Softdrive dashboard, and a generic internal server error message may be displayed.
Common Causes
Error Code 502 is usually triggered by one or more of the following:
Temporary outage or degradation of Softdrive backend services
Failure in internal web services or APIs
Connectivity issues between Softdrive services and third-party providers
Ongoing maintenance or unexpected platform instability
This error is not caused by client-side configuration, local firewall rules, VPNs, or endpoint security software.
Troubleshooting
Things to do when this happens:
Retry the login after a few minutes
Many 502 errors are temporary and resolve automatically once backend services recover.Check Softdrive service availability
If applicable, verify whether there is an ongoing platform incident or maintenance window.Avoid repeated rapid login attempts
Multiple retries will not resolve the issue while the backend is unavailable.
If the error persists for more than a few minutes or continues to occur repeatedly, please contact Softdrive Support.
