Overview
If you no longer have access to the phone number used for Softdrive Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), you will not be able to complete the login verification process until the 2FA configuration is reset.
Softdrive Support can reset your 2FA enrollment so you can register a new phone number during your next login.
Applies To
- Softdrive user accounts with Two-Factor Authentication enabled
- Users who changed or lost access to their phone number
- Users unable to complete 2FA verification
Prerequisites
- Access to the email address associated with your Softdrive account
- A new phone number available for future 2FA enrollment
- Ability to contact Softdrive Support
Procedure
- Contact Softdrive Support

- Email:
- Request a 2FA Reset
- Explain that you no longer have access to your previous phone number
- Request a reset of your Two-Factor Authentication configuration
- Wait for Confirmation
- Softdrive Support will verify the request and reset the account’s 2FA enrollment
- You may be asked to confirm account ownership before the reset is completed
- Sign In Again
- After the reset is completed, sign in to Softdrive again
- You will be prompted to configure a new 2FA phone number
Expected Result
Your Softdrive account is reset for Two-Factor Authentication enrollment, allowing you to register a new phone number successfully.
Troubleshooting
- Ensure you contact support using the same email associated with your Softdrive account
- Check Spam or Junk folders for support responses
- Verify the new phone number can receive SMS or authentication codes
- If you cannot access your account email, inform Support immediately
