User Quick Start

Overview

This is a quick start guide to help a new user access and begin working on their Softdrive vPC.  For users who have already been registered to Softdrive by their IT administration go to step 5.

1. The user will receive an email with instructions to register for Softdrive by their IT administrator.
2. Follow the instructions to register online

• Dashboard Signup and Login 

3. Receive a confirmation email once registration is complete.
4. The user will now be able to access the Softnet dashboard by going to softnet.softdrive.co.

5. Install the Softstream Client on your physical computer.

• App - Download and Install (Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS) 

6. Log into the Softstream Client with your username and password.
7. Click on the ‘Computers’ icon and you will see a list of the virtual VMs assigned to you. Select your assigned VM and click ‘Connect.’

8. If your administrator has configured SSO (single sign-on), you will be automatically logged onto your virtual PC.

9. Learn more about using your virtual PC and the Softstream Client.
