User Quick Start

Overview

This is a quick start guide to help you access and begin working on your Softdrive virtual PC (vPC).

Already registered? If your IT administrator has already set up your account, skip to Step 3.

Prerequisite

Make sure you have the following ready:

• A registered email address (provided to your IT administrator)
• A compatible device (Windows, macOS, Linux, or iOS)
  
  

Procedure

Register you Account

1. You will receive an email from your IT administrator with instructions to register for Softdrive.

2. Follow the instructions in the email to register online: Dashboard Signup and Login
3. Once registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.

Access the Softnet Dashboard

1. Go to softnet.softdrive.co to access the Softnet dashboard.

2. Log in with your registered credentials: Dashboard - Logging In

Install the Softstream Client

1. Download and install the Softstream Client on your device:
   App - Download and Install (Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS)
   Windows
   MacOS
   iOS
   
   

2. Log into the Softstream Client with your username and password.

Connect to Your Virtual PC

1. Click the Computers icon to see a list of the virtual machines assigned to you.

2. Select your assigned VM and click Connect.
3. If your administrator has configured SSO (single sign-on), you will be automatically logged into your virtual PC.
