If you're experiencing issues connecting to your Softdrive PC, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Step 1: Check If Your Softdrive PC Is Shut Off
- Open the Softdrive Web Dashboard.
- Look under the "Status" section to see if your Softdrive PC is Up or Down.
Step 2: If Your Softdrive PC Is "Up" But Not Working
- Click the “Preview” button from the dashboard.
- If you see an error or the screen does not load properly, click the "Troubleshoot" button.
- Follow any on-screen instructions to attempt an automatic fix.
Step 3: Restarting Your Softdrive PC
If you accidentally shut down your Softdrive PC using the Windows shutdown option, you can restart it using one of the following methods:
Option 1: Power On from the Softdrive App
- Open the Softdrive App on your local machine.
- Navigate to your Softdrive PC profile.
- Click "Power On" to start your Softdrive PC.
Option 2: Power On from the Web Dashboard
- Go to the Softdrive Web Dashboard.
- Locate your Softdrive PC under your profile.
- Click the "Turn On" button to restart it.
Step 4: Rebooting Your Softdrive PC
If you accidentally shut down your Softdrive PC using the Windows shutdown option, you can restart it.
Reboot from the Web Dashboard
- Go to the Softdrive Web Dashboard.
- Locate your Softdrive PC under your profile.
- Click the "Reboot" button to restart it.
- You can then click "Launch" to open up the desktop application.
