Overview

This article explains how to reset your Softdrive password using the “Forgot Password” option from the login page.

If you no longer remember your password or cannot access your account, follow the steps below to create a new password securely.

Applies To

• Softdrive user accounts
• Softnet login portal
• Users unable to sign in with their current password

Prerequisites

• Access to the email associated with your Softdrive account
• Internet connection
• Access to the Softnet login page

Procedure

Method 1: Forgot Password (from Login Screen)

1. Go to the Login Page
   Visit:
    https://softnet.softdrive.co/auth/basic/login 
2. Click “Forgot your password?”
   Select the password reset link below the login form.
3. Enter Your Email Address
   Enter the email associated with your Softdrive account and click:

   Send me a reset link

4. Check Your Email
   Look for an email from Softdrive with a subject similar to:

   Reset your Softdrive password

   • If you do not see the email, check your Spam or Junk folder
5. Follow the Reset Link
   Click the reset link in the email to open the secure password reset page.
6. Create a New Password
   Enter a new strong password and confirm it.
7. Submit the Password Reset
   Click:

   Reset Password

   You should now be able to log in using the new password.

Expected Result

Your password is updated successfully and you can log in to Softdrive using the new credentials.

Troubleshooting

• Verify the email address entered is correct
• Check Spam or Junk folders for the reset email
• Wait a few minutes if the email does not arrive immediately
• Ensure the reset link has not expired
