How do I change my Windows screen orientation?

Modified on Wed, 5 Mar at 10:56 AM

To change your Windows screen orientation while working with Softdrive, follow these steps:

  1. Disconnect from Softdrive: Ensure you are not logged into Softdrive to avoid any conflicts.

  2. Adjust the local PC screen orientation:

    • Right-click on your desktop and select Display settings.
    • Scroll down to the Display orientation section.
    • Choose the desired screen orientation (Landscape, Portrait, Landscape (flipped), or Portrait (flipped)) from the drop-down menu.
    • Click Apply to confirm the change.
  3. Log back into Softdrive: Once you've adjusted the local PC's display settings, log back into Softdrive.

Important Notes:

  • The display orientation on your Local PC is how your monitors will be configured.
  • Be aware that changing the screen orientation on the Softdrive PC might cause issues with cursor visibility, particularly the cursor disappearing. It's recommended to leave the Softdrive PC's screen configuration unchanged to avoid this problem.

This way, you can adjust your screen while minimizing potential issues with the Softdrive setup.
